Adrian Darnell "AJ" Griffin Jr. (born August 25, 2003) is an American former professional basketball player. A five-star recruit out of Archbishop Stepinac and a standout freshman at Duke, he was drafted 16th overall by the Atlanta Hawks in 2022. Griffin played two NBA seasons, highlighted by clutch game-winners as a rookie, before retiring in September 2024 to pursue full-time Christian ministry, stating he was "giving up basketball to follow Jesus."
