Biography
Gerald Dempsey "Buster" Posey III is an American baseball executive and former professional baseball catcher. He played his entire 12-year Major League Baseball career with the San Francisco Giants (2009-2019, 2021), winning three World Series championships. Posey was named National League MVP in 2012 when he won the batting title with a .336 average. Known for his exceptional hitting and defensive skills, he was a seven-time All-Star and won one Gold Glove Award. After retiring in 2021, he joined the Giants ownership group in 2022 and was named President of Baseball Operations in 2024.
