Charles A. "Charlie" Morton (born November 12, 1983) is an American former professional baseball pitcher whose 18-year MLB career spanned nine teams and culminated with a farewell appearance for the Atlanta Braves on September 28, 2025. Nicknamed "Ground Chuck" early in his career, Morton reinvented himself in Houston as a high-velocity, high-spin strikeout pitcher, winning the 2017 World Series and later adding a second title with Atlanta in 2021—famously pitching through a fractured fibula in Game 1. He finished with 147 wins, a 4.13 ERA and 2,196 strikeouts.
