Biography
Jonathan Bryan Toews is a Canadian professional ice hockey center who played for the Chicago Blackhawks from 2007 to 2023, serving as team captain for 15 seasons. Nicknamed "Captain Serious" for his intense demeanor, he led Chicago to three Stanley Cup championships. After health struggles with long COVID and chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS), he took a break from hockey before joining his hometown Winnipeg Jets in 2025.
