Robert John Whittaker (born 20 December 1990) is an Australian professional mixed martial artist and former UFC Middleweight Champion. Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, Whittaker is known for his striking, resilience, and sportsmanship. He began his MMA career in 2009, won The Ultimate Fighter: The Smashes in 2012, and became the first Australian to win a UFC title in 2017.
