Carlos Alberto Tevez (born February 5, 1984) is an Argentine professional football manager and former player. A dynamic forward, Tevez was capable of playing as a striker, winger, supporting forward or attacking midfielder. He began his career with Boca Juniors before playing for Corinthians, West Ham, Manchester United, Manchester City, Juventus, and Shanghai Shenhua. Known for his tenacity, work-rate and powerful style, Tevez earned the nickname "El Apache" from his upbringing in the tough neighborhood of Fuerte Apache. He won multiple league titles across different countries and represented Argentina in two World Cups and three Copa América tournaments. After retiring in 2022, he moved into management with Rosario Central and later Independiente.
