Troy Kenneth Aikman (born November 21, 1966) is an American former professional football quarterback who played 12 seasons for the Dallas Cowboys. Aikman won three Super Bowls, was named MVP of Super Bowl XXVII, and earned six Pro Bowl selections. After retiring in 2001, he became one of the most prominent NFL color commentators, calling games for FOX (2001–2021) and joining ESPN’s Monday Night Football in 2022. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2006 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2008.
